Sub Zero Freeze coached by Caroline Holway took the gold medal in Tier 3 action Monday afternoon.  The Freeze had two match wins with one loss on Friday, and went 1 - 2 on Saturday.  One of their losses Saturday came against the Bisons (Winnipeg)  by set scores of 25 - 19, 20 - 25 and 15 - 8.

Monday saw the Freeze beat Fraser Valley (Abbotsford) 25 - 20 and 25 - 12 setting them up for their semi-final match against Kelowna Kevlar Kidz.  Sub Zero took care of them in 2 straight sets by the same scores of 25 - 19.  As fate would have it, Sub Zero played the Bisons for the gold medal.  Only this time the boys wanted a different outcome than their first meeting.  With set scores of 16 - 25, 25 - 18 and 15 - 6, the Freeze won GOLD!

Sub Zero Crush played 9 matches over three days of competition at the Tradex in Abbottsford, BC this past weekend and came away with a silver medal in their tier.  They played 3 matches each day with the final match played against Focus on Fire of Surrey.  The Crush lost 25 - 22 in both sets of the final match.  Congratulations to Crush for capturing a silver medal.

The u15 Girls team was awarded a Bronze Medal at the BC Provincials.
